WW1 soldiers

Trinity Arts is organising a multi media exhibition to mark the centenary of the end of WW1. There will be stories from local people who had family in the war, as well as video, medal displays and much more. The event also includes people dressed as WW1 soldiers reading poetry, a screening of the film Journey’s End, a video report from a local school on the scene at the war graves in Europe, and, for the first time, poignant tales of some of those ‘Shot at dawn’, following unique research by a Southport historian. A sing along of war songs to live piano music will take place at our Lunchtime Music on Friday 16 November at 1pm.
