Trinity Arts is delighted to host the Liverpool Renaissance Singers, an amateur Early Music choir of about 30 singers. They were formed in 1965 as the Renaissance Music Group and perform music of the Renaissance and early Baroque eras, usually unaccompanied. The choir’s voices include the usual soprano, alto, tenor and bass ranges.
The choir sings two main concerts each year in Liverpool Cathedral Lady Chapel, in March and December, and a number of other recitals across Merseyside, North Wales and further afield. This year they are celebrating 52 years, and looking forward to performing in Southport.
