Enjoy a cabaret style evening, with beautiful music by Linda and friends, and then a delicious supper in the interval. Entitled, Love to Laughter: songs from Britten to Broadway, it looks set to be a sparkling evening.

Dawn Lloyd (mezzo soprano)
For many years Dawn sang with the City of Leeds College of Music Opera Group, taking roles such as Dorabella (Cosi fan Tutte), Suzuki (Madama Butterfly), Cherubino (Le Nozze de Figaro), Popova (The Bear) and Mistress Quickly (Falstaff) as well as being a regular soloist in oratorio. More recently she has specialised in Art Song of all kinds, where her degree in Modern Languages has been of particular value. She has taken part in masterclasses with April Cantelo, Patricia McMahon and Joan Rodgers and continues to study with Hilary Thomas.
David Borsada (baritone)
David is a regular on the lunchtime recital circuit in the West Midlands. His repertoire includes folk songs, operatic arias, Lieder, French Melodie, English song and musical theatre. He also sings solos with choirs countrywide, including works such as: Faure’s Requiem, Handel’s Messiah, Stainer’s Crucifixion, Mozart’s Requiem, Orff’s Carmina Burana and Haydn’s Creation.
Linda Carr (piano)
Linda is from Manchester, where she studied piano. She went on to pursue a career as an English teacher while developing her experience of piano accompaniment through working with instrumentalists and singers in both recitals and masterclasses. She sings soprano in the Southport Bach Choir and Amadeus Chamber Choir, and is continuing her piano studies with Duncan Glenday in Manchester.
